Medicinmannen (The Medicine Man) is a drama/thriller in 8 pieces produced for TV4 by Swedish drama producers Jarowskij. The series will air on TV4 in the autumn of 2005. The story is a modern kidnap drama that unfolds around medical chief executive Martin Holst (Mikael Persbrandt) and his company Hols Medicals.

Kaktus Film was asked to produce the opening titles for this high profile series. The aim was to reflect the story's medical plot with strong visuals based on an exciting and imaginative ride inside the body. The feel is like a stylised version of real veins, nerves and blood corpuscles.
