This is a new character we created for Swedish Channel 5 (Kanal 5). He’s a cute little robot that supposedly lives in a small closet in the Channel 5 building. He will show up between programs with all kinds of funny messages and also guide the viewer to the Channel 5 webplay site which is his second home. This clip shows the first ever scene with him on TV, it’s his mystical (and mythical) birth. No one really knows how this happened, and least of all Playbot himself. He sort of just appeared one day.

Playbot was all designed and created by Kaktus Film on the request of Kanal 5. He will be used exstensively for all kinds of communication with the viewers. Program info, web info, sponsor messages etc. Look out for him between programs on Kanal 5 in the near future...
